  • Mystical experiences of interconnection and expanded consciousness.

Simple exercises to explore breathwork's power

While a full holotropic breathwork session is best experienced with trained facilitators, especially your first few times,  you can start exploring breathwork’s power through some simple exercises.

1.Conscious Connected Breathing: Take deep belly breaths, with no pause between the inhale and exhale. Maintain this smooth, circular breathing rhythm.

2. Breath Counting: Inhale deeply, exhale fully while mentally counting “one.” Count each exhale up to ten, then start over.

3. Breath Visualization: Imagine drawing in vitalizing energy/light on the inhale and releasing tensions/blockages on the exhale.

4. Chakra Breathing: Focus your inhales and exhales on each of the seven main chakra energy centers in turn.

Start gently and listen to your body. Breathwork is deceptively powerful, so be patient as you explore this ancient practice. Use your breath as a tool to unlock healing, awakening, and self-discovery.
